Tricept - energy efficient windows Our Tricept range of uPVC windows offers a wide range of traditional and modern styles that will complement any home. Manufactured to the highest standards they are completely draught and water tight, feature a unique nine point locking system and have been especially designed to provide high levels of energy efficiency. The Government is committed to a reduction in the levels of carbon dioxide emissions by 2010 and have put controls in place to reduce energy losses from domestic dwellings by improving the thermal performance of all new houses. These controls also apply to existing housing stock as and when any works are carried out. Our Tricept windows are now energy rated to confirm the extent to which they will help keep heating bills down and reduce harmful CO2 emissions. Window heat losses through windows can account for 30% of the total heat loss from a house. The British Fenestration Rating council confirm that Sherborne’s Tricept energy rated windows are 67% more energy efficient than a conventional double glazed PVCu window. |
